In the first year of the war, she left Barnaul Teachers Training School in the 3rd year, and after completing nursing courses, Anastasia Nazarovna came to the recruiting station and asked to be sent to the front. At that time, the 315th Rifle Division and the 507th Separate Health Support Battalion were being formed in Barnaul, where nurse Obraztsova was enrolled in the surgical platoon.

She fought on the Stalingrad, Southern, and 4th Ukrainian fronts. Participated in the liberation of Sevastopol with 507th Health Support Battalion of the 315th Rifle Division.
