Valentina Semyonovna LIKHACHEVA (SEPOVA)


Valentina Semyonovna Likhacheva (Sepova) was born on September 8, 1927, but in order to get to the front in 1941, she added two years to her age. Since that moment, her passport shows the year of birth 1925.

Participant of the Great Patriotic War since 1941, a signalman-telephone operator. She took an active part in the liberation of Novorossiysk, Taman, Kerch, Sevastopol, Minsk, in the battles on the territory of East Prussia and the assault on the fortress city of Königsberg. She met the Victory Day in Königsberg. She was wounded at the front.
